First the back is worked with increases. Then the shoulders are worked and shaped using decreases. The shoulders are joined to form the front, and then the front and back are joined to form the body. The body is worked in the round and then split into front and back to form the side splits. The slits start approximately at the iliac crest (top of the hip). The sleeves are shaped using short rows, before they are worked in the round in rib. The turtle neck collar is worked at the end in rib.
