The trendy Sophie Scarf is an absolute favorite this winter!

Have you started knitting the lovely Sophie Scarf yet? The PetiteKnit Sophie Scarf seems to be on everyone's needles at the moment, and no wonder! The Sophie Scarf is quick and easy to knit, and it will complete any outfit. You can combine the beautiful Sophie Scarf with your outfit, or wear it as a neck scarf, which will warm you up wonderfully in the cool weather of early spring. The perfect mid-season knitting project!

You can knit the practical Sophie Scarf in less than ten hours and you can find the Finnish instructions for it in Armi in two different sizes. The smaller size scarf can be wrapped around your neck once and the larger one twice. I knitted the lovely Sophie Scarf in Christmas red earlier this year and fell in love with the scarf so much that I soon knitted the second scarf and finished it this week. I used Kremken Eco Cashmere yarn for my first scarf and only one ball of yarn was enough for the larger scarf when knitted with size 3 needles. The picture shows the PetiteKnit Sophie Scarf knitted with Kremke Eco Cashmere yarn.

My second scarf (also in a large size) was made from Knitting for Olive's soft wild berries Compatible Cashmere yarn, which took one and a half skeins. The general recommendation is that a larger scarf requires about two skeins and a smaller one, of course, depending on the knitter's skill. The picture shows the PetiteKnit Sophie Scarf knitted in a larger size.

You can find the wonderful Sophie Scarf pattern here ! Sophie Scarf is also great for beginners, so you don't have to worry about the challenge of the pattern. Sophie Scarf is quick to make and is also a perfect gift for a friend or family member. Remember that you can always ask Armin for help choosing yarn, I'll be happy to help!

Gentle buds and a wonderful anticipation of spring!

PS Tip for knitting a scarf: if you want to make sure you have enough yarn, use a kitchen scale to help you. When you have just over half the weight of the ball of yarn left, start decreasing as instructed. This will ensure that the yarn you choose is enough to knit the entire Sophie scarf.
