Bulky / Super Bulky yarns

 

Bulky and Super Bulky yarns are both thick yarns that are especially suitable for warm knitting projects. Bulky and Super Bulky yarns are typically plush and fluffy. Versatile Bulky yarns offer excellent warmth and comfort, which makes them perfect for winter knitwear and home textiles, for example.

 

Bulky yarns are thicker than worsted yarns, but thinner than Super Bulky yarns. Their needle recommendation is usually from 5.0 mm to 7.0 mm. Super Bulky yarns, on the other hand, are very thick and their needle recommendation is usually 7.0 mm and up. Both yarns are very quick to knit due to their thickness, which makes them perfect for quick projects and for beginners.
