The Story behind Armi yarns

Armi yarns was born from a desire to create a yarn shop where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Our selection is built around natural materials, timeless shades, and producers whose values we truly believe in. We see knitting as a way to slow down — a gentle counterbalance to the rush of everyday life and a chance to create something meaningful with your own hands.

Meet the Founder

I'm Else, the founder of Armi Yarns.

Crafts have been a part of my life from the very beginning — I have studied them, taught them, and created with them passionately. In the fall of 2023, I realized a long-standing dream and opened my own yarn shop in Eastern Helsinki.

I wanted to create a space that feels calm and thoughtful, where the materials are of the highest quality and the atmosphere is warm.

For me, Armi Yarns is a story about slowing down, honoring traditions, and celebrating the power of community.
