PetiteKnit Novice Slipover knitting pattern

PetiteKnit Novice Slipover is a beautiful and beginner-friendly knitted vest. The knitting pattern is in Finnish and is available in an A5-sized high-quality print magazine.

The Novice Slipover is knitted top down in stockinette stitch. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted, from which stitches are picked up for the shoulders from the cast-on edge. The shoulders are joined to form the upper part of the front piece.
The front and back pieces are joined at the armpits, and the lower body is knitted in the round with circular needles. Finally, the rib edges are knitted for the armholes and neckline. There are instructional videos for all the steps at www.petiteknit.com.

Size guide

The vest has approximately 15 cm of allowance. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished vest are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so that you can choose the right size. Example: if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The bust circumference of a size S vest is 105 cm, so in this case there would be 15 cm of allowance.
