It's Not a Sweatshirt is a simple and basic staple sweater with a relaxed fit, inspired by the classic sweatshirt. The sweater is worked seamless top down in the round in stockinette stitch. It begins with a folded ribbed neckband, and continues with short row neckline shaping and raglan increases to the underarms. Sleeve stitches are then placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. It’s Not a Sweatshirt is knit with two strands together throughout, one strand of Merino and one strand of Soft Silk Mohair. You can easily add your personal and unique touch to this basic sweater by mixing and matching colors and choosing your own combination. The possible variations are endless!

Yarn: 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn; 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7) balls; and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn; 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) balls

The sample is knit in Merino, Pearl Gray colorway and Soft Silk Mohair, Putty colorway Needles: 3.5 mm / US4, 4 mm / US6 and 4.5 mm / US7 circular needles, and 3.5 mm / US4, 4 mm / US6 and 4.5 mm / US7 double-pointed needles, in size to obtain gauge, and 3 mm / US2.5 circular needle for Italian bind off method

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm [4"] in st st with 4.5 mm / US7 needle
