Isager Merilin – a soft blend of merino and linen
Isager Merilin is a 3-ply blend yarn containing 80% merino wool and 20% linen. The combination of soft merino wool and lively linen makes the yarn versatile and pleasant to knit with.
The light strands of linen stand out beautifully among the dyed merino and create a melange, even slightly tweed-like look to the yarn.
Merilin's three-ply structure makes it an excellent choice for cardigans and sweaters, for example, and it also works well in patterned knits. The knit surface is flowing, airy and feels pleasant against the skin. Thanks to the merino wool, the yarn is also suitable for those with sensitive skin.
Isager Merilin is also a great choice for knitted accessories such as scarves. The melange, broken tones are easy to combine with each other and the yarn's timeless color palette represents the vintage aesthetic that is characteristic of Isager.
Merilin is spun and dyed in Peru, and its timeless color palette represents Isager's signature vintage aesthetic. A small scarf usually requires 2–3 skeins, and a size M women's cardigan requires about 350 grams of yarn.
