Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino is a soft and breathable blend yarn that combines 70% organic cotton and 30% mulesing-free merino wool. The result is a smooth and lightweight yarn that feels comfortable against the skin - the perfect choice for example, light summer knitwear and baby clothes.
The wool adds light elasticity and heat-regulating properties to the yarn, while the cotton makes it breathable and airy, making the yarn great for year-round use .
Cotton Merino yarn can be knitted as is or combined with, for example, Knitting for Olive silk mohair. with if you want to create a light fluffy surface or increase the strength of the yarn.
Cotton Merino yarn is made in Italy and all materials are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Merino wool is fully traceable and comes from ethically raised, mulesing-free sheep.
