PetiteKnit No Frills Cardigan pattern

PetiteKnit No Frills Cardigan is a soft cardigan designed by Danish knitwear designer PetiteKnit.

The knitting pattern is a high-quality A5-sized print magazine in Finnish .

The No Frills Cardigan is a long cardigan with raglan sleeves that is knitted from the top down. The cardigan is knitted in stocking stitch, and the edge is knitted in rib from top to bottom. The pockets are finally knitted from stitches picked up from the front pieces.

Size selection guide

The jacket has about 20 cm of allowance, which means that its circumference should be about 20 cm larger than your chest circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to correspond to a chest circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are stated on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before starting work so that you can choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 105 cm, which means that in this case there would be 20 cm of allowance.

Tip: You can also replace the mohair yarn in the pattern with Knitting for Olive with Soft Silk Mohair yarn or Isager's Silk Mohair yarn.
 
About the amount of yarn: The amount of yarn in the pattern is for a 115 cm long jacket, which is suitable for a person who is approx. 170 cm tall.
