Sandnes Garn Double Sunday is a 100% mulesing-free merino wool yarn that combines softness, naturalness and versatility. The DK-weight wool yarn is designed specifically for knitters who appreciate the feel and look of untreated wool - this yarn is not superwashed.

Double Sunday Due to its thickness, Double Sunday is a perfect base yarn that can be knitted single or double. The yarn is suitable for knitting alone or combined with, for example, silk mohair. Double Sunday works great in sweaters, beanies, cardigans, vests and children's clothing.

Thanks to the structure of the Merino wool fibers, the wool wicks moisture away from the body and retains its warmth even when wet. According to the manufacturer, wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet on the skin. The yarn is also great for for layering and outdoor clothing!
