We'll be knitting warm scarves in November!
In November, the days are already getting shorter, the evenings are getting darker early, and the mornings are getting darker. It's that time of year when you feel like wrapping yourself in something warm and soft. When it's windy and drizzling outside, it's comforting to retreat to the corner of the sofa and get lulled into the world of knitting. 🤎
In this post, I present four beautiful scarf patterns that are perfect for this time of year. There are both classic and more experimental styles, but above all, patterns that combine warmth, comfort and the joy of knitting. Scarves are usually quick to make, and they are also a great choice when you feel like starting something new – and right away.
PetiteKnit Sophie Shawl – a timelessly beautiful scarf with a little twist
Sophie Shawl is probably familiar to many of you – and no wonder. This curved, tapered scarf is just the right little project for everyday wear, and it sits beautifully around the neck or shoulders. I knitted my own Sophie shawl in BC Garn's Hamelton Tweed 2 yarn, which adds a touch of coarseness and structure. The vibrant surface of the tweed makes an otherwise simple scarf interesting and cozy.
PetiteKnit Sophie Hood – the perfect combination of practicality and style
Sophie Hood is a hit knit that combines two winter favorites: a scarf and a headpiece. The result is a practical and elegant accessory that brings both warmth and style to the cooler days of autumn and winter. The beautiful Sophie Hood crowns every outfit, and almost invariably attracts admiration. I recommend knitting this in Pascual's luxurious Cashmere Charis yarn, which makes the scarf incredibly soft 🤍
Both PetiteKnit patterns can also be found in Finnish on Armi!

Knitting for Olive Olive Scarf – silky lightness and the warmth of merino wool
Olive Scarf is a stylish, airy and elegant scarf knitted together with Knitting for Olive. Made with Merino and Soft Silk Mohair yarns. The combination of Merino and silk mohair makes the surface of the knit wonderfully light, but also warm. The end result is a classic and elegant scarf that goes with any outfit.

Berlin Scarf – like a soft hug in the form of a scarf
Lastly, I would like to recommend a beloved all-time favorite, the Berlin Scarf ! An earlier model of this scarf received a lot of love at Armin's store before it continued its journey to my daughter.
Now, however, the new pattern I promised has finally arrived in the shop! This one is also knitted with Sandnes Garnin Borstet Alpakka yarn, which makes the scarf plush and warm. The Berlin scarf could be compared to a soft hug, which warms you up even in the coldest winter. You can buy the pattern for the Berlin scarf on Ravelry .
Warmly welcome to the store to try on new models!
Light and gentle buds for the last days of November 🧡
