Lace-strength yarns are very thin and light yarns, which are used especially for lace knits and summer clothing. These yarns create airy, light and beautiful knitted surfaces. They are often combined with another, thicker yarn, or knitted double or even triple.

Lace yarns, knitted with one strand, are perfect for knitting lace scarves and light clothes, for example. Please note that lace-strength yarns when knitted simply can be challenging for beginners due to their thinness, but with practice they become easier to handle.

Lace-strength yarn when knitted twice corresponds to fingering-strength yarn, while lace-strength yarn together with fingering-strength yarn usually corresponds to sport or dk-strength yarn.
