Color: 01 wooly white

BC Garn's Bio Shetland GOTS is a slightly thin, woolly soft yarn. The yarn is perfect for e.g. embroidery and scarves. When knitting, the yarn can feel rustic, but it softens when wet. Knitwear made from this yarn should be finished by wetting it. The colors of the yarn are spun from several different shades and the end result is a unique, beautiful mottled color surface.

This yarn also has the GOTS certificate. The ecology and manufacturing ethics of GOTS -certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) products are monitored at all different stages of production. Special attention is paid to water consumption for example.

Despite its name, BC Garn's Bio Shetland GOTS is not from the Shetland Islands, as there are still no GOTS-certified farms there to this day. Instead, the name is based on the properties of the yarn, which makes it look exactly like Shetland wool. Therefore it fits your knitting projects just as well as the original!

BC Garn is originally a Danish family business that invests in ecology and organic wool in the production of yarnsBC Garn -yarn brand has the most GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) yarns in the entire industry.

BC Garn represents natural and sustainable yarns that actively promote a sustainable and ethical fashion industry. Only natural materials are used in BC Garn's yarns. The yarns are rustic and the shades are very vivid.
