Collection: WoolDreamers yarns

The WoolDreamers yarn brand was founded by Spanish Ramón Cobo, whose dream was to supplant the fiber market of synthetic materials with organically produced fibers. WoolDreamers is an ethical yarn brand whose core values of ecology, high quality and animal welfare reflect this dream. Cobo's family has been making yarn for more than four generations.

WoolDreamers' yarns are made from wool sourced from freely grazing, mulesing-free sheep in Spain, whose well-being is carefully taken care of. Sheep live a natural and healthy life where they are well fed and cared for. WoolDreamers' ongoing dedication to sheep welfare allows us to source the highest quality fibers from each breed of sheep.

WoolDreamers aims to promote the well-being of nature and sustainable development by guaranteeing the ecological nature of the yarn production process. WoolDreamers is constantly developing its operations in a more environmentally friendly direction. Currently, more than 60 percent of the energy sources used by the company are renewable or based on own consumption.

All WoolDreamers manufacturing processes are certified according to GOTS and OEKO-TEX standards. In addition, more than 90 percent of WoolDreamers' production processes take place in their own village, which enables yarns to be produced centrally, locally and with low carbon dioxide emissions. It is also particularly important to WoolDreamers that customers can easily trace the entire yarn manufacturing process.
