Biches & Bûches Le Gros Silk & Mohair is a beautiful blend of mulberry silk and super kid mohair. The silk mohair yarn is very soft and warm, and is also very light and can be used alone. The yarn is versatile and suitable for a variety of projects, such as sweaters, cardigans and blankets.
This thick yarn replaces the double-ply silk mohair yarn mentioned in the instructions. Please also note that the yarn is sold in generous 50 g skeins, while silk mohair yarns are usually sold in 25 g skeins. A size M women's sweater will require about 4-5 skeins of yarn, depending on the pattern and needle size.
Le Gros Silk & Mohair yarn has a beautiful color chart that includes both classic shades and current trend colors. Please note that the actual color of the yarns may differ slightly between computer screens and dye batches.
