The instruction uses Isager's Jensen yarn.

The Esther Jacket is knitted top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back yoke is knitted back and forth, which is shaped by increases. Then each shoulder is knitted separately from the stitches picked up from the back piece. The body is knitted back and forth. The sleeves are knitted in the round with circular needle from the stitches picked up from the armholes. Finally, the button placket and the rib at the neckline are knitted.
Make a sample patch first to help you choose the right needle size. You can make a sample patch according to the diagram on page 11 or 12.

Size selection guide

The jacket has about 24 cm of slack in the smaller sizes and gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a chest circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished jacket are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so that you can choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S jacket is 114 cm, so in this case there would be 24 cm of slack.
