Fern Collar is a warm and feminine neck warmer featuring a simple, yet elegant, textured pattern with eyelets and a cozy turtleneck.

Fern Collar is worked from the top down in the round with 1 Strand of Heavy Merino and 1 Strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. You start with the ribbed turtleneck and continue shaping the collar and working the Bregne Stitch pattern in the round.

Yarn : 1 Strand of Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (125 g [137 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), worsted weight yarn, 2 (2, 3) balls + 1 Strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn, 1 (2, 2) balls.

Tip: Mohair yarn pattern can also alternatively be replaced by Sandnes Garn's Tynn Silk Mohair yarn or Isager's With Silk Mohair yarn.

Needles : 4 mm / US6 and 4.5 mm / US7 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge Gauge: 14 sts and 24 rows = 10 cm [4”] in stockinette Stitch with 4.5 mm / US7 needles
