Knitting for Olive Pure Silk is a high-quality and soft 100% raw silk yarn (bourette silk), which brings a beautiful matte finish and a sophisticated look to knitwear. Silk's natural thermo-regulating properties make the yarn perfect for year-round use: in summer it cools and wicks moisture, and in cooler seasons it insulates heat with breathability. This makes the yarn an ideal choice for lightweight sweaters, tops and scarves, for example.
Pure Silk yarn is 100% cruelty-free , meaning that the silk is only collected after the silkworms have naturally left their cocoons. The yarn is STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it is free of harmful chemicals and safe for those with sensitive skin.
