The Amy Sweater is knitted top down in stockinette stitch. First, the top of the yoke is knitted flat and the neckline is shaped. Then the yoke is continued in the round and shaped with raglan increases. The sleeves and hem are knitted with wide rib edges and small rolled edges in stockinette stitch. Finally, the collar is knitted from the stitches picked up from the neckline.
Size guide
The shirt has about 20 cm of slack in the smaller sizes and gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a chest circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so that you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 88 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 108 cm, so in this case there would be 20 cm of slack.
