The PetiteKnit Dagmar Sweater knitting pattern is an A5-sized, high-quality print magazine in Finnish .
From Armi's selection, Wooldreamers Mota is a great yarn for this.
The Dagmar Sweater is knitted top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back yoke is knitted flat, which is shaped by increasing. Then each shoulder is knitted separately from the stitches picked up from the back piece. The body is knitted in the round with circular needles without decreasing or increasing. The sleeves are knitted in the round with circular needles from the stitches picked up from the armholes. Finally, a rib edge is knitted at the neckline.
Make a sample patch first so you know how to choose the right needle size. You can knit the sample patch according to the diagram on page 10.
Size selection guide
The shirt has about 26 cm of slack in the smaller sizes and gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a chest circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so that you can choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 116 cm, so in this case there would be 26 cm of slack.
