PetiteKnit Holger Sweater The knitting pattern is a high-quality A5-sized print magazine in Finnish.

The Holger Sweater is knitted from top to bottom. The body is knitted in stockinette stitch with stripes. The sleeves, hem and neckline are knitted in solid colors in different colors. First, the striped yoke on the back piece is knitted back and forth, and the shoulders are shaped with shortened rows. The shoulders are knitted back and forth with circular needles and joined to form the front piece. The front and back pieces are joined at the armpits, and the body is knitted in the round with circular needles in stripes. The sleeves are knitted from the stitches picked up from the armholes. Finally, the fold-over neckline is knitted from the stitches picked up.

Size selection guide

The shirt has about 20–25 cm of slack. Sizes 1–2 (2–3) 3–4 (4–5) 5–6 (6–7) 7–8 (8–9) 9–10 (10–11) 11–12 (12–14) are designed to fit a chest circumference of 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (82) cm. The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front of the pattern (note: the measurements are only valid if the given knitting density is followed).
Example: if the recipient of the shirt has a chest circumference of 62 cm, choose size 6–7 (years). The chest circumference of a size 6–7 shirt is 86 cm, so in this case there would be 24 cm of room. If the recipient's chest circumference and the size for age do not match, you can adjust the length of the shirt as needed, as well as if the child is shorter or taller than average.
