PetiteKnit Maggie Vest The instructions are in A5-sized, high-quality print form. The instructions are available in both Finnish and English.

The pattern uses Sandnes Garn's Double Sunday yarn. Kremke's Eco Cashmere yarn is also perfect for this!

Maggie Vest is knitted from the top down. First, the back yoke is knitted back and forth, which is shaped by increasing. The shoulder stitches are picked up from the top edge of the back piece, and the shoulders are knitted back and forth separately, shaped by increasing and decreasing. The front and back pieces are joined at the armpits, and the body is knitted back and forth with circular needles. Ribbed edges are made for the armholes. Finally, the edging is knitted along the front edges and around the neckline. Knit a swatch before you start to make sure you have the right needle size.

Size selection guide

The vest has about 5 cm of slack, meaning its circumference should be about 5 cm larger than your own bust circumference. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75–80 (80–85) 85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm. The measurements of the finished vest are given on the front page of the pattern. Please note that the measurements will only match if you follow the given knitting density. Measure yourself before starting the work so that you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your bust (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The bust of a size S bra is 96 cm, so in this case there would be 6 cm of room to spare.
