The PetiteKnit Marie Clutch knitting pattern is a high-quality A5-sized print magazine in Finnish .
The pattern uses Isager's Jensen and Silk Mohair yarns and Knitting for Olive's Soft Silk Mohair yarn. Alternatively, the mohair yarns can be replaced with Kremke Soul Wool's Silky Kid yarn.
Marie Clutch is knitted from the bottom up in one piece. First, the bottom is knitted in hollow knit. From the sides of the bottom, stitches are picked up for the sides, which are knitted in the round in garter stitch. The garter stitch consists of knit and lifted stitches. At the top, first two end strips are knitted in hollow knit and then long strips. The zipper is sewn on with sewing thread, and finally the lining of the bag is sewn to shape (by hand or machine) and then in place. Instructions for sewing the lining are included.
