PetiteKnit Moby Sweater is a beautiful knitted sweater, the pattern of which is especially suitable for more experienced knitters. The instructions are in A5 size, high-quality print. The instructions are available in both English and Finnish .

The Moby Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in garter stitch and cable stitch. First, the upper part of the back piece is knitted and the shoulder line is shaped with shortened rows. Then, the stitches are picked up at the shoulders and joined to form the front yoke. The front and back pieces are joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round without decreasing or increasing. The sleeves are knitted in the round with double pointed needles or circular needles, looping. Finally, the stitches are picked up at the neckline for the rib edge. The edge is folded twice to the wrong side and secured by knitting.
Make a swatch first so you know what needle size you need for the density – it may also depend on your yarn choice. Wet the swatch before measuring, as washing will affect the surface knit.

Size guide
The shirt has about 15–20 cm of slack, meaning its circumference should be about 15–20 cm larger than your chest circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a chest circumference of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm.
The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 106 cm, so in this case there would be 16 cm of slack.
