Cast on stitches for the back piece and knit back and forth, increasing for the armholes. Finish with rib. Pick up stitches on each shoulder for the left and right front pieces. Increase on the armholes before joining the front pieces. Knit the front piece back and forth, increasing for the armholes and finish with rib.

Create stitches for the armhole edge as follows: use a crochet hook to create stitches for the band edge, continue by picking up stitches from the armhole edge at the back and front, and finish by creating stitches for the second band edge with a crochet hook at the end of the row. Work the armhole edges and band edges in rib and finish with an Italian bind off. Work the neckline and fold in half.

Knit the slipover with double yarn (= 1 strand SUNDAY + 1 strand TYNN SILK MOHAIR).
