Sandnes Garn Double Sunday is a DK-strength soft merino wool yarn that is not superwashed. Due to its thickness, it is a perfect base yarn that can be knitted single or double. Double Sunday merino wool yarn is also easy to knit with other yarns such as silk mohair. Due to the structure of the merino wool fibers, the wool wicks moisture away from the body and retains its warmth even when wet. According to the manufacturer, the wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet on the skin.
