PetiteKnit Lyon Sweater pattern

PetiteKnit The Lyon Sweater pattern is an A5-sized high-quality print magazine. The pattern is available in both English and Finnish .

The pattern uses Sandnes Garn's Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair yarns. Alternatively, Tynn Silk Mohair can be replaced with Kremke Soul Wool's Silky Kid yarn.

The Lyon Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the top of the back yoke is knitted back and forth and increases. Then, stitches are picked up for the straw from the slanted sections of the back yoke. From the shoulders, stitches are picked up for the rest of the yoke and the body, which are knitted back and forth with circular needles first and then in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round with double pointed needles or circular needles by looping. Finally, the fold-over neckline is knitted in rib. The stripes are knitted from the middle of the yoke downwards.

Size selection guide

The shirt has about 20 cm of slack in the smaller sizes and gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit 80–85 (85–90) 90–95
(95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm chest circumference. The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start working so that you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 108 cm, so in this case there would be 18 cm of slack.
