The newest arrival in Armi's selection is the BFL Silky Sock yarn from Laurelknits!
BFL Silky Sock is a sport-strength sock yarn that is a combination of wool, silk and nylon. The yarn is smooth and silky and has great stitch definition. One 100g skein is enough for medium socks up to size 39EU. In addition to socks, the yarn is also great for e.g. scarves and other accessories.
Laurelknits is a small Finnish company whose founder, Laura, dyes the yarns by hand in Helsinki. Currently, the yarns are dyed in batches of three skeins. However, if you are knitting a project with several skeins, the manufacturer recommends alternating the skeins to achieve the best end result. All threads are dyed with professional acid dyes and stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home.
Please note that although we try to present the colors of the threads as accurately as possible, the colors may vary between the screens of different computers and mobile devices.
