The pattern for the PetiteKnit Zipper Sweater Light is an A5-sized high-quality print magazine. The instructions are available in both English and Finnish.

The Zipper Sweater Light is knitted from the top down. The collar is knitted in rib, folded and knitted in place. Raglan increases are knitted in the yoke. First, the piece is knitted back and forth with circular needles for the zipper opening, then in the round. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, a strip for the zipper is knitted from the remaining stitches so that it also looks good from the wrong side. The zipper is sewn between two layers of fabric, either by hand or by machine.
Make a sample patch first so you know how to choose the right needle size for the density.

Size guide

The shirt has about 20 cm of slack, meaning that its circumference should be 20 cm larger than your bust. The shirt is designed to be oversized. If you want a tighter fit, choose a smaller size. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust of 80–85 (85–90) 90–95 (95–100) 100–110 (110–120) 120–130 (130–140) 140–150 cm.
The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting so you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 113 cm, so in this case there would be 23 cm of slack.
