Pikkuhali – Urpola Tila's hahtuvalka
Urpola Tila's Finnish sheep wool yarn tex 285x2
Urpola Tila's Pikkuhali is a fluffy wool yarn that is thin and delightfully soft. Pikkuhali yarn is especially suitable for making soft handicraft products. You can conjure something small and soft for a baby out of yarn, for example.
The yarn is also excellent for knitting sweaters and neckerchiefs, for example.
Hahtuvalanka is a yarn similar to the popular lettlop, but a domestic, more ecological and softer alternative.
Urpola Farm is located in Somero and is family-owned. At the moment, there are about a hundred ewes living on the farm. Urpola's farm produces wonderfully soft and warm Finnish sheep and kainun gray wool yarns.
The entire production chain of wool yarns takes place in Finland. Pirtin Kehräämö is responsible for spinning and washing.
For now, threads from Urpola Tila are only sold in Armi's store.
