Knitting for Olive Unicef Sweater Kids -knitting instruction is an A4-sized high-quality print sheet in English .

A4 size print instructions are only available in our store in Herttoniemenranta.

The instructions use Knitting for Olive Merino and Soft Silk Mohair yarn. Soft Silk Mohair yarn can also alternatively be replaced With Sandnes Garni's Tynn Silk Mohair yarn or Kremke Soul Wool's Silky Kid yarn.

Unicef Sweater is inspired by, and made and designed for all the children of the world. The total sales of this pattern will be donated to Unicef and their work for the world's children.
Unicef Sweater is worked seamlessly top down in the round using 2 Strands of Merino or 1 Strand of Merino + 1 Strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. Unicef Sweater has a circular yoke construction, and a Fair Isle pattern of children holding hands around the yoke. You begin with the Folded ribbed neckband and continue with neckline shaping using German short rows. Increases are then worked around the yoke and you start following the charts for the Fair Isle pattern. You can choose to either repeat only one of the charts, or alternate between the two charts at random or in your own preferred sequence. After the yoke, sleeve stitches are placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. The body is then further shaped by working additional German short rows at each underarm. Ribbed edges finish the
body and sleeves. The length of the body and sleeves can easily be adjusted. The Fair Isle pattern is charted only.
