PetiteKnit Storm Sweater pattern

PetiteKnit The pattern for the Storm Sweater is an A5-sized high-quality print magazine. The pattern is available in both English and Finnish .

The pattern uses Sandnes Garn's Peer Gynt yarn. Alternatively, you can replace the yarn with Järbo Select no 6 yarn.

The Storm Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. First, the back yoke is knitted flat and the shoulders are shaped with shortened rows. Then, the stitches are picked up on the shoulders and joined to form the front yoke. The front and back pieces are joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round without decreasing or increasing. The sleeves are knitted in the round with double pointed needles or circular needles, looping. A fold-over rib is knitted at the neckline, the edge of which is purled. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch, with four different sections. First, make a swatch so that you can choose the right needle size for the required density. Both the stitch and row density must be followed to ensure that the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern are achieved. The swatch can be made according to the diagram on page 15.

Size selection guide

The shirt has approximately 26 cm of slack in the smaller sizes and gradually less in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit 75–80 (80–85)
85–90 (90–95) 95–100 (100–110) 110–120 (120–130) 130–140 (140–150) cm chest circumference. The measurements of the finished shirt are given on the front page of the pattern. Please note that the measurements will only match if you follow the given knitting density. Measure yourself before starting work so that you know how to choose the right size. Example: if your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 90 cm, choose size S. The chest circumference of a size S shirt is 116 cm, so in this case there would be 26 cm of room left.
