Malabrigo Arroyo
Malabrigo Arroyo
Malabrigon Arroyo is a soft and durable sport-strength hand-dyed merino wool yarn. Arroyo is perfect for everyday light (but warm) garments and thanks to the superwash treatment it is very easy to care for, as products knitted from the yarn can be machine washed on a wool wash program.
Try Arroyo yarn for scarves, accessories, or baby and children's clothing! One skein is perfect for a hat or mittens, and three skeins will make a shirt, especially if you combine this yarn with a thin, lace-strength silk mohair.
Please note that each skein of Arroyo yarn is individually hand-dyed, which means that the color of the skeins may vary even within the same dyeing batch. To ensure a random color distribution in your knitting, it is recommended that two skeins of yarn are used at the same time, alternating the yarns every few rows.
The colors shown in the photos are also indicative, as the shades of the yarns may differ more or less from each other due to the hand-dyeing process.
The sweater in the picture is the Collett Sweater by WitreDesign, knitted with Knitting for Olive's Soft Silk Mohair yarn together with Arroyo yarn (color 047 Coffee Toffee).
