Sandnes Garn Sunday – thin and versatile merino wool yarn without superwash treatment
Sandnes Garn Sunday is The thinnest 100% merino wool yarn in Sandnes Garn's range. Sunday is light fingering-strength, mulesing-free and not superwashed, making it the perfect choice for those who appreciate the natural properties of wool.
Sunday yarn is a perfect base yarn and is suitable for versatile knitting for both adults and children for all-year-round use. You can knit a cardigan, beanie, sweater or mittens with this merino wool yarn. The yarn can be knitted alone or double or together, for example Sandnes Garnin With Tynn Silk Mohair yarn, which makes the knitted surface wonderfully soft.
Thanks to the structure of the merino wool fibers, the wool wicks moisture away from the body and retains its warmth even when wet. According to the manufacturer, the wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet on the skin. The merino wool in the yarn comes from mules-free sheep.
The Sandnes Garn Sunday yarn shade chart is beautiful and extensive, and it also includes several of the current trend colors. Some of the colors are designed in collaboration with Danish designer PetiteKnit . You can recognize the collaboration yarns by the PK marking in front of the color.
